Complex aromas of bing cherry, currant & blueberry. Ripe plum, currant, chocolate, black tea, leather, tobacco & pink peppercorn on palate, with a long finish.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were hand harvested from Yavapai College Vineyard in the Verde Valley AVA in the fall of 2022.
Destemmed and cold soaked prior to inoculation.
Daily pump-overs during primary fermentation.
Pressed to oak barrels and aged 21 months.
Racked prior to bottling in June 2024.
