Tasting Notes
Dark chocolate and red fruit notes transition to rich fig jam flavors on the palate with light white pepper on the finish. This wine is especially good with food, like our Meat & Cheese Board.
Winemaker Notes
Grapes were hand harvested from Golden Rule Vineyard in the fall of 2021. Destemmed and crushed into open-top bins for fermentation with specially selected yeast. Punched down daily and pressed at dryness. Induced Malolactic fermentation. Aged 22 months in 2-year-old French oak barrels. Racked and filtered prior to bottling in August 2023.
