Tasting Notes
With its pungent redolence of dark, wet leaves & leather, this wine is a must have. Detecting dried fig and a touch of tobacco. This wine is complex but not overly tannic.
Winemaker Notes
Grapes were hand harvested in the fall of 2021. Destemmed and cold soaked prior to inoculation. Daily pump-overs during primary fermentation. Pressed to oak barrels and aged up to 20 months. Bottled May 2023.
