Da Vines Vineyard
This wine showcases a complex, old world style of Merlot. Ripe cherry immediately presents on raising the glass to your nose. An underlying aroma of currants fills out the fruit character. Savory smells of mild tobacco and fresh bay leaf follow with a lingering note of jasmine rounding out the nose. Black cherry continues on the palate, with a brambly raspberry character quickly behind. The lively acidity keeps the fruit character bright while baking spices, Italian plum, and cedar notes round out the flavors. Velvety tannins coat the roof of your mouth keeping the cherry lingering long after.
